BITES at Wipro – 3D Industry Visit 2025
Wipro 3D Factory, Peenya Industrial Area, Bengaluru
The visit was organised by BITES (Board for IT Education Standards), for the Faculties of Computer Science and Engineering College of overall Karnataka to an Industrial Visit to the Wipro 3d Factory visit.
Overall, 19 Faculties were nominated to visit the industry visit from different engineering colleges from Karnataka.
During the visit, the faculties attended an interactive and informative session conducted by the Production Head from Wipro. The session covered Wipro’s 3D additive manufacturing business model, the advanced machines used, and their applications in day-to-day manufacturing industries.
Faculties also gained exposure to the Machines, 3D-printing and its operative mode and automation and was taken to the production department and showed the latest machines that are used for the Aircraft parts and space jets products to the faculties.
Key Takeaways: Understanding the latest 3D-printing and process machines and their contribution in manufacturing, Defence, Healthcare industries. Which will help the faculties to train the students still more with technical knowledge transfer. Which students will get help to understand the practical knowledge and adopt in their academics for the betterment of their carrier.
